A froe is a tool used for the controlled splitting of wood. It's useful when breaking down wood for green-woodworking.
These froes are made from a solid piece of 4140. They come with hardened and tempered edges. The eye has a single taper. 1.25'' at the top, 1.75'' at the bottom. The blade is sharpened, but not razor sharp. The froe comes with a 17.5'' white ash handle.
